Traditional Thai Massage

Thai massage combines acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga poses and stretches.

Unlike other types of massage, Thai massage requires active participation, with the therapist guiding you into a variety of yoga-like positions to stretch your body thoroughly. This gentle compression relieves tension and stimulates circulation.

Combination Thai & Oil Massage

Thai Combination Massage, is based on the Eastern view of health and wellness. It incorporates an acupressure therapy that blends deep tissue massage, gentle stretches and stimulation of acupressure points to instil a perfect balance of refreshment and relaxation.

Natural, blended massage oils are used in smooth flowing massage strokes to relieve tension in the back, shoulder and neck.

Additional benefits include improved blood circulation, reduced stress levels and improved sleep. This treatment can also naturally boost the body’s healing systems.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is a type of Remedial Massage Technique that is used to stretch and loosen up tight muscles. Your message will include firm pressure but will also include flowing strokes. It is frequently used in tandem with Trigger Point Therapy.

When should this type of massage be incorporated into your massage treatment plan?

You have the sensation that your muscles are extremely tight.
- For postural problems
- If you are aware that you have scar tissue and/or muscle adhesions
- Lower Back Pain and/or Headaches as a result of muscle tightness
- If you are attempting to increase your flexibility
- If you are constantly stretching and triggering but feel as though you are making no progress

Acupuncture - Dry Needling

Dry needling is also known as Western acupuncture, is a form of acupuncture that is based on anatomy and neurophysiological principles and is performed by inserting needles into "trigger points" in your muscle or tissue to relieve muscle tightness, ease tendonitis and inflammation and promote healing.

Commonly used to treat shoulder pain, back pain, headaches, and jaw/TMJ dysfunction.

You can include Remedial Massage as a post-needling treatment to expedite recovery.

Dry needling is performed by our skilled, trained, and certified health professional.

Remedial Massage

Remedial massage can stimulate the blood supply, make joints more mobile, and help to repair damaged tissues. The therapist will aim to balance the length, tone and tension of muscles and tendons, which restores the correct position of the bones, increases blood flow and helps heal injuries.

Easing and stabilising the muscles can improve problems such as headaches, abdominal pain, low back pain and sciatic pain.

Some health problems that are often treated with remedial massage include sporting and dance injuries, muscle cramps, arthritis and frozen shoulder.

Remedial Massage is performed by our trained and registered remedial massage therapists.

Thai Foot Massage and Reflexology

Thai foot massage is the application of pressure onto particular areas of the soles of the feet. A reflex action in another part of the body is stimulated by the manipulation of each specific area.

Foot reflexology massage uses hands, fingers, thumbs, knuckles, and a rounded wooden stick with lotion or oil. Provides relaxation, balance in the body's various systems, and healthy blood circulation.

It is known as a therapy to foster general good health and mental serenity.
